Men’s Club. A safe & supportive social group for men.
Men’s Club is our new, informal, social evening for men, hosted at Chelmsford City FC’s Dunmow Group Community Stadium and run by CCFC Foundation.
It’s a relaxed, welcoming space where men can come for company first. Talk if they want to, listen if they’d rather but know they’re not alone.

Funded by the National League Trust and building on the success of our Movember launch event, Men’s Club is all about connection, conversation and community.
What is Men’s Club?
Men’s Club is a regular social group for men aged 18 and over, meeting at the stadium fortnightly on Tuesday evenings. It’s designed to feel social first, with an evening centred around games, conversation and genuine connection. The informal atmosphere is relaxed and non – clinical, giving you space to talk if and when you feel ready, without any pressure or stigma.
It’s also a place to meet other men who understand what you might be dealing with, whatever that looks like for you. Men’s Club is supported by partners including Mid & North Essex Mind, Nuffield Health, our walking Football community and a professional counsellor ensuring there’s trusted support available whenever it’s needed.
Football has the power to bring people together; so let’s tackle men’s mental health together and continue to change lives one kick at a time.
When Does Men’s Club Run?
Men’s Club runs fortnightly on Tuesday evenings at the Dunmow Group Community Stadium. Every session is free to attend, and you’re welcome to come as often as you like.
Because we want each evening to feel relaxed, safe and well – supported, we ask everyone to book in advance. This simply helps us plan numbers and make sure we have the right team in place.
You’ll find all upcoming sessions listed in our events calendar, along with any updates or changes to the schedule.
